Hi all: Would it be worth the effort to change a 250 in a race car application to a Serpentine Belt? We are running 2 V belts right now and turning 6,000. Also using PS and an Alt.Question assumes that these belts take less HP to run.
Comments, or is the long winter getting to me already? Thanks.......

The big deal in this one would be to take the belt out of the damper's inertia ring and make the hub take a proper pulley to drive the accessories. Depending on how you set it up You'll need a reverse rotation pump.
