Looking for a nice set of Clark cast iron headers for a 216-235-261. These are two piece headers. Each header has the name "CLARK HEADERS" cast into it.

Hi 6cyl . . . a cast iron Clark header hmm . . . never knew there was such a thing.

Now there was such a set out on ebay last spring - fetched six hundred!

Bench Racing Post circa April '12

But the construction of these headers was discussed in Speed Age magazine - September 1950 - which characterized them as 'stamped steel':

So the cast construction of the set on ebay has me puzzled.

I haven't even seen photos of the stamped style depicted in the vintage ads.

Seem to be fairly rare pieces . . .
