So I've found a lead on a Rochester 2BBL. From what I can tell from talking with the seller and pics I believe it's a 2GC. It's complete but will need rebuilding I'm sure. My question is would $50.00 be a reasonable offer?

CALL YOUR AUTO PARTS STORE AND ASK FOR A REBUILT CARB THEN ASK HOW MUCH THE CORE CHARGE IS. THERES MORE TO REBUILDING A CARB THAN PUTTING A "KIT" IN IT. MOST OF THE TIME THE THROTTLE SHAFT IS LOOSE IN ITS BORE.
