I am contemplating a built I6 in a s-10. I know there will be a bit of surgery but Thats ok how long is a 250 and 292 I6? This will help me decide if this will be a doable project (I know with a torch and welder its all possible) I should say feasible.

Im looking at race and friday night road runner. Might be a tad long. I have also toyed with putting it in the bed (I have a long bed) I know I may have to section it and make it longer but may be easier than in the front. I can pull the bed off fab up the mounts so it sets low in the chassis bolt on a turbo 350 and figure it will bolt right to the rear. Use a cable shifter and cut the frame in front of the rear and lengthen it as needed then cut the bed and splice in a section to blend it all in. Any input ?

if you plan on doing some cutting away why do like they with os the vThings. And just cut the fire wall an set the block back that way?just some food for thought. }[oooooo]
Larry/Twisted6 [oooooo] Adding CFM adds boost God doesn't like ugly.
I fiqured from the face of the fan to just at the bell housing was about 36",I think going with an electric fan would do it for you, good luck.
I figured having to move the core support forward tight to the grill with a electric fan and cutting into the firewall is going to be done as well. I figure after i get it all in and hooked up Ill just make a removable panel on the inside. This is all in the planning stages for a possible late summer project but keep the advice coming. I think this might prove to be a different" rice burner!!
