Has anyone used the vortec 4200 bellhousing from the 4L60E on a late model transmission?

I know EFI-DIY has adapted a late model GM bell to the 4200. What about using the removable bell from the 4l60E.

I have a later model T5, with the 26 spline input shaft. Seems as though the Colorado/Canyon clutch assembly would be a natural fit. I know it would need a hydraulic clutch. Some clutch kits even come with the hydraulic throwout.

Any ideas would be appreciated.
