I have a 1953 GMC Suburban. I know the steering tie rod is 3/4 inch but the left and right threads are larger than that. If I wanted to refresh the threads... what size die would I use?

I have found both 3/4x16 & 25/32x 16. There will be some left hand threads in there somewhere. I'd give The Filling Station a call to be sure.
