I just got a 53 pickup. The original engine was changed to a 235. Can anyone post engine torque specs and give some info on what marks to use for cam to crank. Or where is the best place to get this info. Do I have two buy two chevy service books to cover the truck and the engine, because the engine is a 1960? Thanks Jeff

Try going to the library. They have books there that you can make photocopies of the torque spec page.

Dear Jeff;

A Motors Manual (1960 era) will have it all.

They are on e-bay all the time.

Good luck. \:\)
