just want to know what the max safe bore is for the 261 is. thanks tom

The most 'overbore' on those is +.125, which makes 278 CID using the stock crank.

The custom pistons needed are worth it in the 'long run', as you can choose exactly the compression ratio you want.

Once ballanced It's a hard combo to beat.
