I have access to a 1956 Oldsmobile V-8 2 groove pulley. Would it work on a 62 261?
I have a long water pump if that makes a difference.

Who knows? Compare it to the stock 57-62 one that you have. If it matches okay.

For 55-62 Chevies with stock pump and 1 groove pulley, a short pump V8 pulley fits right over the top of the existing pulley.
