I am thinking about adding A/C to my 261. Is there more than one way? Like left side or right side of the engine? Top or bottom locations? I am running a 3x1 Offy intake and a stock 54 Corvette dual exhaust.
Anybody have pictures, would be a big help. Do I need a two groove pulley on the crank or the cam? Motor is exposed for the world to see in a streetrod so looks are important. I would like to get the pump down low on the distributor side of the engine but don't know if the has ever been done?

Ed, Best I've seen was the compressor on the passenger side via a home made bracket mounted off the pushrod cover holes, which may have been drilled and re-threded. Sorry I don't have any photos.
