Swapped a '59 261 into my '53 sedan and used the original 53 frame towers. Since I'd been talking about this on here I thought I might as well let everyone who's interested in on the conclusion.

Rather than post it all again here I'll link to it.

Thanks for posting the link to the thread. Lots of valuable information. Sounds like you got a lot of good help from the H.A.M.B. I like the way your installation turned out. Very good planning and execution. I'm glad that my pictures helped, even though I put them out there for the oil filter installation question. We're always learning something if we keep our ears and mind open.
