I'm ready to hook up fuel lines on my H/W 2bbl., and the fitting I'm trying to use is for fuel lines, but doesn't quite match the threads in the carb. I almost decided to retap the hole, when it occurred to me that the fittings could be metric. Is that possible?

Sorry, answered my own question...took carb to hardware store to try some fittings on ;\)
