Tom Langdon used to sell a kit Crank and pistons for around 1000.bucks??But why build a LOW deck 292? why not just build a 292 itself?Then you would not be worrying about the 250 block cracking over the water pump area On the intake side were some of these blocks are prone to cracking. Plus you don't have to worry about the crank trying to push the rods out the side of the block.Just my 2cents.

Thanks for the replys. I don't really know much about these engines. I was thinking that since the 230-250-292 are generally always grouped together that they might all have the same blocks. It definitely would not be worth the money.
