Anybody know what size plugs you need in the side of these intakes (single square hole)I have been playing with a couple of different pipe plugs and am not sure if I have a bad thread or the wrong type of plug. And I believe the little 1/4" hole below the centre of the manifold does not go right thru so you could use it for linkage or whatever? Also, I am putting on a 2 bbl and need a hot air source for the choke. Do you think it would work to put a fitting in the side of the maniflod where I can hook up a 5/16" coupler line to it? Would it affect driveability at all? Thanks guys....

The heat for any type choke needs to come from the exhaust, or from a heated water source. If it is not a elec. choke. And if i remeber my offey that i had One hole was tapped for Vac. and the other was a blank type hole tapped for a linkage bolt. Hope this helps.}[oooooo]

Using my Offy manifold as an example, the center 3/8 x 16 hole is open into the manifold and could be used as a vacuum hole for a vacuum assisted wiper motor. The two larger holes I thought were the casting process holes. Mine are sealed by aluminum covers held with 4 small, peened over rivets on around each hole. I have no idea how that was achieved.
