Quickj question, im hoping theres a quick answer.

Besides the bellhousing bolt pattern, are there any diferences internally between the L6 & V8 TH 350 tranny?

Best check with a Transmission Shop to be sure as some early 60s models used a Powerglide.

The converter may be different for the V-8 application(s) too.

Different clutch packs - 6 cyl versions came with less clutches and different convertors/shift calibrations.

Clutch packs are easily changed, as GM has room for many more (common practice to thow away the spacer and add 3 more clutch packs to a racing trans)

Torque converter bladding is determined by many factors. Order what you need when you buy the new TC
