I recentley bought a matched pair of nos carter w1`s(41-48 Chev) to run on my Edmunds 2x1 intake. These are perfectley matched as far as I can tell, all the numbers on the carbs/box`s are the same, same brackets,etc...

These will be installed on internally stock 216 with fenton headers.I will be installing new kits in the carbs.Does anybody have any suggestions on what to do before/after I install them as far as dialing them in,getting them to perform correctly?

You could remove the top of each & put a little vasiline on the accelerator pump leather.

Block off the vacuum advance hole on one & hold the choke open on both.

Good luck. \:\)
