Hi Folks,
Let's discuss the exciting topic of hazard lights. My '64 Chevy p/u doesn't have 'em. She needs them for work.I assume I can tie into the directional leads on the column with a fused circuit including flasher can and toggle switch.
Is this the best spot to tie in?
What type/value of flasher relay should I use? Thanks

Well, this topic sure didn't light up the switchboards, but not to worry.I've found the solution. I was right on the money as far as where and how to route this circuit- I just needed to add a diode on each lead to the directional wire (so there is no feedback when using the directionals)But thanks for all the input, it was educational.

If you want an original hazard flasher unit, I think I know where I can find a used one. Let me know. Joe ddial@yft.net
