Greetings . . .

I had been calling around to various cam grinders trying to find someone to do a regrind for my 216 build.

Most that I talked to had never worked on "anything that old" and those that had worked on older sixes had never heard of the specifications I was after.

That is until I called Delta. Scott knew exactly what I was talking about and quoted a great price of 50 bucks . . . which by the way is less than the Iskenderian catalog price from '56.

A few weeks ago I sent them an NOS 'core' that I believe is a TRW TM338:

This week I got back some very nice workmanship on that same cam reground to an ancient Isky spec:

They provided a Cam Doctor report showing .020 and .050 characterists and a nice tee shirt to boot.

Thanks for the referral. It was well worth shipping it across the country.

Now I really can't wait to start wrenching!

regards
Keith

The cam I run in my Deuce with the Wayne 12-port was ground by Delta (1-800-562-5500)....Both Jerry & Scott are great people to deal with. Delta can usually regrind a cam in a day. They can also recondition the old tulip lifters at a price of $2.50 each exchange.
