Just got my new 12 Port News. Man, great issue!

Can't get over Ferguson Racing running over 300 mph with a Jimmy!

Inliners turning 145+mph, 165+mph, 184+mph, man! That's racing!

As a Crosley owner, I was even tickled to see a brief mention of some folks trying to break a 98 mph record. Hot Dog....they gave it a go and got close with a 92 mph run! Sweet, as the kids say!

I have GOT to get out there before I die! At 67, guess I'd better get on the stick.

Wonder how many hemorrhoids I'd get driving a Crosley to Bonneville?

Let's see, at a speed average of about 5o mph, it'd take about a month to drive from Pa to Utah! It'd be worth it!

We was at Bonneville Speedweek for the first time time this year, and YES, it was definately worth the effort!!!! The racing was great, and so many nice and friendly people.
And dont be afraid of the driving, we drove from Wisconsin in a -77 GMC fenderside in about a week, Its not that bad. Worst thing to us was the heat.

Man! If you can make it from Norway, I won't whine about getting there from Pennsylvania! You inspired me, if you can get there, certainly I can, too!

No TV show, no photos, no description, has ever captured the feeling, or sights and sounds of Bonneville, for me.

I know nothing is better than being there and I hope I can make it next year.

A well placed JATO pack could cut your travel time down a lot! I've often thought a Geo engine and trans in a Crosley would be fun. As I've driven my Geo out there several times from Connecticut, I'm sure with a day and a half lead, you'd beat me there!

Whoa, Armond! That's a good idea! A little adapter work and a front-to-rear drive train...Hmmmm. How cool would that be?

Wonder what a full-bore Geo 3-banger sounds like with uncapped headers?

Actually, I have a small push-rod Datsun engine that I'm planning to build for the Crosley. In stock form it has 3 times the power of the Crosley and only weighs about 90 pounds more.

I want to get it running with the original engine and do all of the body and suspension work, while driving it around here, then put the Datsun engine in when everything else is done.

I'll race you to Bonneville, Armond!
