it would definitely be a pre-war business coupe:

\'37 on eBay

\'39 on eBay

but I have enough to do on the '49.

That won't stop me from shopping. The '37 has lots of potential and the '39 is done (though it could use some go fast parts) . . .

regards,

The blue one is a 39, or has a 39 'ft. clip'.

I always wanted one (when I was a kid) in the 50s. The 38 was my favorite. They were $75-$125 back then.

Today; they have problems with the 'stearing geomentry' (& shake) on the freeway and are $10,000+/-.

Be sure to 'road test' anything first.

Happy trails. \:\)

You're right John . . . it's not a '38 - I mis-read the ad . . . but it is nothing the edit button won't fix.

Anything nice is going to come at a price.

Doesn't Tom Langdon have a '39?

Yeah; I think so, With a GMC 302 as I recall.

It's red with a 5 carb set up, I think.

Not red anymore. It was painted earlier this year in two-tone blue, new wheels and some interior work but still the same 302....you can't improve on that.
