Anyone out there running an overdrive with HEI ignition? I'm thinking about coverting to HEI, and am wondering about the wiring of the overdrive, as the stock setup is designed to interrupt the ignition circuit, momentarily taking the torque off of the overdrive solenoid pawl during "kickdown". I'm wondering if this is a bad thing for the HEI, but without it, there is no way to get out of overdrive when the car is over 25 MPH.

Any thoughts?
