Yes, the car that I brought over was this...

And it is all ready been delivered to its new home in Tennesee !

As for my plans, I will probably run the head on my existing short block for now, it's nice and tight with a mild cam.. should make 320 - 330 hp or so? With the proper solid cam,etc it would go 350-360 I would hope.
I am considering the idea of going forced induction though, building a short block with one of the other 265's I have around at the moment.. if I do that, figure a mild centrifigal supercharger setup should get me into the 500hp range. (along with the proper cam and induction/exhaust as well...)

Cool, what a lucky guy, the new owner of that beast. Excelent car, right hand drive, and powerfull. Also differnt, I like that. I will save my bucks, I will get a 265.
That forced induction engine you have in the plans will be incredible. Supercharged or Turbo, that 265 will fly off the car!
What is under the hood of this car(one you just brought in), triple DCOE's? These guys in Tennesse are going to halucinate.

The Magenta car is a six-pack, and still has factory 3 speed manual as well \:\)

The blown engine will be down the track a little, but the rack and pinion,5 speed, and ported head will all be happening soon at least !

Here is another pic for everyone... mocked up my 5 speed swap on a spare engine.. It's an Aussie made conversion bell housing, and just a T5 I got locally.. (it is all nice and clean now too \:\) )

I have a couple of engines around at the moment actually... I'll be tied up with work for a couple of more days, but I will be sure and get with you later in the week !

OzHemi... if you run out out suppliers, I can get these engines for you. I can also organise rebuilding of them here if that's a help.

My nephew builds race engines for HQs, but he's currently building up a '64 Phoenix with a Poly 318 to race in Appendix J and would happily build Hemis for you as a sideline. Standard or modified. He's excellent with head work.

Thanks, but I have a few engines sitting in my garage now, and 3 or 4 more standard bore 265's in my mate's shop in Melbourne waiting for the next container we are sending here in a month..

(I do all my own building as well, including the 308 I am currently doing for my Torana)

Thanks for the offer though !
