John Schaners sent me an e mail with this very interesting link on how he converted his flatty to fuel injection. Very interesting indeed!

this is like the coolest thread ever!!!

why? because i'm a cheap s.o.b., that's why! if you compare the cost of conventional speed parts against the conversion costs, there is no comparison. moreover, you should get performance, economy, and improved longevity that simply cannot be achieved otherwise.

i know, it sounds like complete heresy. however, if i can keep my flatty running for another 45 years (assuming i live that long, which is unlikely), who could complain? it didn't make it 20 years in its first life.

i should, in fairness, note that i am price comparing a junkyard conversion with speed parts as curently priced on the internet. clearly, an nos conversion would drive the price up considerably. HOWEVER, there basically aren't any conventional junkyard parts available in my area, and what i see on the net is priced at premium levels.

Here is a link to the fastest/quickest slant six powered "door slamer" in the country. Turbo charged/fuel injected.

How about a M-90 supercharged/FI slant six.
