I've a '58 Mercury M-100 Truck that I'm installing a Built to the Hilt '65 series 300 I6 w/ an H.D.'d & H.P.'d C-4 tranny.
I've also a '58 Mercury M-100 Panel that I'm either going to stroke the '58 223 I-6 or install a '64 262 I-6, either will have a Cruise-O-Matic bolted on.

I finally got the 300 setting in my 57 F100. I built the engine and transmission cross members out of 1.5 inch (1/8" thick) square tubing. I had hoped to find a commercially available engine cross member that would work, but finally decided to build them myself.
