It took a bit of prodding but I had my wife ask her sister what their brother was going to do with the Hudson. Its on my sister in-laws farm and she wants it GONE!

My wife, Emelia, told her that we'd take it if Tim didn't want it after all.

Cheryl called Tim and asked him when he was coming to pick it up and he has reconsidered and told her to give it to Emelia on one condition. If we ever sell the Hudson, Tim gets first crack at it.

So the Hudson goes on the left side of the garage and my Camaro has a new roommate.

GOOD GOD! WHERE DO I START?!?

Its going to be a long summer...but I think it might fly by before ya know it...

I nominate Emelia for the Inliner wife of the year... My ultimate inline is a '54 Hornet with Twin-H Power 7X 308. I'm actually old enough (barely) to remember seeing Hudsons win races on the old beach course at Daytona! If there's enough interest we'll start a Hudson forum here.

It's a 1947 Hudson 4dr Super Six and it's in iffy shape but not ready to be a parts car by a long shot. I guess we're getting it for $500.00 from Pop's estate plus flatbedding it from the farm to Milwaukee. (About a 3 hour drive normally.)
Normal = Speeding...

I'll have to get some server space and post the pictures that I took in the shed last month. It's sitting on four flats and the rodents have used it to bed down in for many winters. They used to use it on the farm in Racine to power the grain elevator and other farm equipment too. This thing was used and abused...

My wife's probably going to join a Hudson Club. She wants to restore it to factory specs. (I want to add seat belts for safety.) I'll see about getting her in this club too. Won't take much to get her interested when we start the resto and she wants info on the engine!

Above is a website I found that has a Hudson like the one we're getting. Ours isn't as pretty and has two tone green paint (under the dust and dirt).

take a look at this: http://www.uncommonengineering.com/equipment.html

Always wanted to find a '38 coupe and build a 308 for it.
