Jake-
I have a chevy 250 in my CJ5. It had one in it when I bought it. I have noticed no problems with the setup. Of course I dont know what preps were made to make the swap, but I cant see any major changes. I think MAYBE the bell housing had new holes tapped and MAYBE the motor mounts changed. That would be the only things I could think of.

hey hey, wrong forum dude! :p just kidding... sort of.... depending on what transmission you are planning to have back up your powertrain, this swap can be as easy or hard as you want it to be.... personally i would go and find a half-ton 4X4 chevy with a 250-292 in it, that way you have everything you need at a fraction of the cost of just having a bell adaptor made. me, i would hunt for a 4-spd.... even though the 258 is a FAR superior engine..... ;\)
