I am debating on selling my Paxton supercharger set up I made for my 250 Chevy.
I fabrcated the supercharger billet, brackets, pullies (three pullies IIRC)
I do not have a lot of time right now,to pull it out of a box & install it on a mock up engine, But I will get around to it & post some pics.
The Paxton is the SN 89,(the strongest case)w/a race compressor wheel. Gearless planitary ball drive(very quiet!!) It was rebuilt years ago,& I put maybe 50 Miles on it.Then put it away in a box. It worked great!! I ran mid 12's with this Paxton. That was only 8-9 lbs of boost. You can get more if you use a smaller cam than I did.
My cam specs are 585 lift 236 248 @ .050. w/a 115 lobe center line.
The Blower unit cost me $1200. All the rest was fabricating,& materials. I made it to use serpentine belts w/a spring loading belt tensioner. If no body here is interested, I will put it on Ebay,,,,when I get the time to. I am not in a big rush..... Note::: I am not going to give it away,so dont try & offer very little for it. There was a lot of thought & effort involved to get this setup made. Just seeing if there is any serious interest in this. Thanks!!!!!

Could this unit be used for other motors such as a 302 or 261?

fingersix,,, The blower mounts on the passenger side next to the distributor.
"I made it to use serpentine belts w/a spring loading belt tensioner."
I have made serpentine pulleys for this setup.
I used the standard high performance GM 8" damper. So, all the accessories,I moved forward, so I could run the better damper, night & day difference I will say with changing dampers.
I used this system to blow through three 48MM DCOE side draft Webbers.
It would work better if you had fuel injection. It took a while to jet the Webber carbs correctly, plus a lot of money for jets, emultion (SP)tubes, bigger needle & seats, etc.

I'm out...Please sell this to someone else.
I am still working on my Evil Turbo drawing board with a T04 off of a Grand National staring at me on my workbench. Stop staring at me you Devil's-breath-blower you!
Sorry, halloween is coming and I get inspired. Some one please give me a 292 exhaust header so I can make a J pipe and start the painfull process!
