Inliners International Forums General Discussion Engines 228 electrical temp sender

Can anyone point me in the direction of a p/n or vendor that I can obtain an electrical temperature sender for my GMC 228. It's a '45, still with 6 volt pos grnd. Who actually made them? AC or Delco or someone else. I'd like to get an original, as I'm told the aftermarket ones are @ too high an ohm-age. Looks to be at about 7/8" in dia.
