Gentlemen,
I have misplaced (duh) the two bolts for the camshaft thrust plate on my chevy 250 inline. Can you please tell me the fastener size, pitch and length, as well as the torque spec. for them?

The plate is held on with two philips head screws, perhaps that's why you can't find them. They are about 1/4-20 x 1/2, haven't seen any torque values for them. You might be able to substitute bolts as long as they don't interfere with the cam gear.

Larry,
Thanks for the help. I bagged and tagged most of the other fasteners as I was removing them, but....
I did find a torque value of 10 ft. lbs in a Chilton manual.
