Im going to put a Holley 390 on a Offy intake that will be bolted to a Chevy 194 does anyone know if the original throttle linkage will work with the new carb w/o any adjustments? What about the vaccuum secondaries and the electric choke? I dont want to order it only to find that i wont be able to install it!!

You will need to modify the linkage. Offy seels a bell crank for this application. I have pics I can send you of my set up. If someone can tell me how to post it here I will try that.

The Offy linkage kit comes with a new Offy manifold. It is sort of clumsy in my opinion.
Perhaps a better choice is a Lokar throttle cable kit and using a universal hot rod gas pedal made for cables or modify a junk yard unit from a mid 70's to late 80's car. I used one from an 84 Monte Carlo and with a few re-bends and simple reworking of the cable end it works excellent.
The stock GM throttle cables off those V shaped engines aren't long enough so you will have to go to the aftermarket hot rod shops for a Lokar. The 24 inch unit should be all you need.

As they say: " Minor assembly required and Batteries not included"

yes you could use 1 of the universal 1's from JEGS-The Spectre brand, or the Mr gasket brand-these work great-for my street 292 i use the stock 1 modified and for my drag truck i use the Mr Gasket 1( i did modify it however)....also Mr Gasket has the Throttle Linkage Plate-that works great too...go to you fav local parts store and look in the so called "Performance" area-some of these will be there also-buy a few diff 1's and see which 1 works for you if you cannot get stock 1 to work for you...

If the 194 is in a Chevy II and you are using the original pedal assembly and throttle arm, make sure you check the carb opening. On mine using a single Edelbrock with a cable connected to the original arm, the carb opened fully by moving the arm within the engine compartment, but when using the pedal there was enough slop, binding wear etc that the secondaries were not opening. Went to a Big Al's "hot rod" pedal and it worked great.

I just remembered that Twisted6/Larry has a exceptionally nice linkage set up. You can find his web site on this site.
