Gentleman with your information and guidance I believe I have a good fit. I used a 4-1/2" angle grinder. I started a new thread so it would be obvious to anyone searching for a solution to a similar problem.
Please see the additional images at this site.

El Viejo, Nice job and pics! Great idea to post so it can be found in a search. A lot of valuable info is buried here. R.I.P. \:\(

Great pics, I guess I'll be doing similar when I get around to fitting my Clifford with 390 Holley,
I've yet to purchase any headers, and a little confused by the way the "Langdons" are routed...anyone got pics of theres installed.
Should you run duals or a single system...and large or small diameter ??

Hi El Viejo, thanks..for some reason I expected the outlets to be much closer together, Looks like it would be straightforward to run duals or fit a "Y" piece and go with a single system. what are your plans ?
Can a ready made "Y" piece be purchased from anyone/Langdon ??

Steve,
Tom Langdon recommended going with a true dual exhaust. I assume that means no "Y" pipe. I presently have a single exhaust. I depends on how much cash I have at the end of the project. I am going to count my dimes when the engine is in the truck and then decide on duals or not. You will probably get a more informed opinion from the more experienced folks on the board.

Hi Ken and thanks for your information.....gotta admit I always feel I am asking stupid questions on here !
Theres very few people using/modding L6 Chevy engines here in England - so theres nobody to seek advice from.

EVERYONE here wants a V8 (except me !)

Flowmaster sells a Y collector in various sizes if you decide that's the way you want to go.
