Here's a refresher of what I'm doing. I have a 261 that's going into a 53 chevy car. The original side mount towers have been removed.

The front cross member has the pads for 49/50 style car front mounts. I will set the engine trans unit onto the rear mount and mark where to drill holes in the pads for the front. No problem there.

I also need the rear side mounts (someone called them training wheels in a earlier thread). I had a 49 back in the sixties but cann't remember what the rear side mounts looked like. Does anyone have a picture of where and how the rear side mounts go? Or a sketch? Or just a description? I've already got the mounts, just could use some advice on how and where to put them. I'd like to be able to measure and figure out what to fabricate while the engine trans is sitting in place this time, to save me doing the in and out and in and out to many times. Thanks. joe
