Was the edelbrock SP2P intake for a 250 anygood?
Did it ready increase fuel mileage?
Or, is it cam sensitive,like the sbc intakes?
I did run a search,very little on th`e 250 intake.

I have not personally used one. But from the looks of it & design,I would have to say it will increase fuel mileage,even w/a mild cam upgrade from stock,should do nicely. The intake port velosity should increase,therefore giving you more low end torgue. I have witnesed (SP) & drove first hand,a SP2P intake on a mild SBC 350,,,let me tell you,it had all kinds of bottom end torque,but it also had no top end power,not even close to the top end a SBC Perfomer intake. it was designed for improved mileage and over all perfromance over the stock intake system.But as a stock replacement.Is the best i know of. I have one of these intakes.No i have not used it
Nore do I plain on selling it.How ever we are trying to get more info from edelbrock inregaurds to this intake.As to all the reasoning behind it and How many may?have been made.

I work on Vic Edelbrocks plane once in a while.
Has not been flying much,budget cuts.
Maybe I can ask if I run into him.
Or my friend @ a cylinder shop talks to him also.

Sure would like to see the runner dividers more closely. Do they extend all the way back to the carb?

The runners on the edelbrock intake run clean back to the carb.

Isn't this intake for the Pontiac 250 OHC?? Just looking at the mounting tabs.
