Somebody got any experience of this? Is the TH350 better trans to use on a 250 GM, normal cruiser? Would the TH increase milage? or is it just better for acceleration times,etc.....

IMO,the TH 350 would be a better trans than a PG for a street car.
You might see mileage difference if you can control your foot ;-)
Because you are going to like the acceleration a lot more than w/a standard PG.

It will keep the engine in a higher vacuum mode during the shifts than a PG would,wonder if that makes sense?

"Higher vacum mode" is understandable. Seems like it alike more/better responses on shift, and not the slow "crawl"shifting time as on the PG. Nice, canīt wait do get the swap done......
wintertime and snow here but my Chevy wants rollinī.
And my pedalcontrol has got some losses after i got some minor changes in the manifolds and carb change......well, its fun to beat a BMW uphill,belived to be quick!
