Hey Hank, I'm a Canadian in freezing Edmonton, Alberta. I have a 64 GMC that I'm building a 292 for, but I'm thinking down the road about a turbo(seems to be me and everyone else). I followed that link you gave out-this might sound dumb, but I can't picture how air/fuel gets to the engine. Is the ebay turbo missing something? Thanks.

Yes, it is missing a quadrajet 4bbl carb.
From the carb it enters the turbocharger inlet to the compressor wheel.
You can use this set-up & make a "J" pipe from your cast iron exhaust manifolds outlet/exit & have it connect to the turbine housing inlet.

Hardy-har. Good one, I figured I might have to provide a carburetor! Again, though, where does air/fuel enter the motor? What happens after the compressor wheel?

I was not being trying to be funny. It's pretty much all there except the carb.
The air/fuel enters the engine where that aluminum 3 bolt flange is, that would bolt up to your single barrel carb is (w/mods), or you can use an aftermarket intake & make an adaptor.
This would be the easyiest draw through set-up to bolt on in my opinion.
Not too much fab work needed.

I tried for a month to sell one, complete with carb here in our classified for $200 bucks with no takers. Traded it off to a friend. Just the ebb and flow of things I guess.

I think for me I do not look @ the classifieds here that often & most times I do not even think about looking there.
I like the idea of @ least posting an item on the BB for sale, then maybe have a link.
But thats just me.
I just wonder if a lot or very few members here actually saw your set-up for sale, I know I did not.

I like MBHD's idea of posting items for sale on the BB as I, too, seldom check the classifieds.

The Posting of a item/s for sale is where they need to stay. Posting a comment about having a item in the classifieds Is fine for the BB. People do not need to be wasting space or time going into all the topics to see what & if things are for sale. THAT is why we have the classified link to the left and Easy to See. This is not a want ad/Classified Bulletin Board as some need to think it is! or feel that it is.

That is why I am a bit hessitant to post stuff for sale on the BB. But if it's OK to do so ,then it's OK. There is a lot of uproar in the Inliners International community at this time about BB members advertising on the Bulletin Board.
The BB is for exchanging ideas and experiences with our Inline Engines, and not a venue to sell your product or services.
It is very unlikley that we will ever have a 'for sale' forum here, however, the Classifieds are handy, free, and fairly easy to use. The Classifieds also have a pretty good following from the other BBs on the gearhead circuit.
As Larry states, your comments to guide folks to the right place should be fine, but, the rules are pretty plain, so PLEASE pay attention, and use the proper restraint, so I won't be forced into any enforcement.
Thank you,
Tim
