I have a 292 ready to drop in. Currently have a 230 (or 250 - can't tell the difference by the casting number). The current 6 banger is all stock but the 292 is tricked with a few goodies - bigger cam, 500 cfm 4 barrel, headers, rebuilt HEI.

When everything is finally tuned I expect a very noticeable increase in torque - both midrange and low end.

The 250 (which was modfied very similar to many posts I have read hear) hit 164 RWHP about 5 years ago on Bill's Chassis Dyno in East Los. I have changed some things that have made the 2FIFFY stronger. FRANKENSTEIN behaves rowdy now

200 rear wheel horse power on stock compression is my goal. I have a feeling I'll come up short, but not by much.

Turbo sounds good but so does a healthy comression...
