Yestermorn, while i was looking for something else, i found this article online.

http://www.studebakerdriversclub.com/documents/TurbochargingtheChampflatheadsix.pdf

Since the little Champ (170 cid) is now out of my 3/4-ton pickup forever, i've been thinking about a light chassis, with a body in the old "Lakes modified" style, in which one could have some Inline fun without having to take out a mortgage at the gas pump.

Turbocharging the Champ might be too much fun, but it's worth thinking about, and i wonder what the Inline experts think about the instructions and opinions in this article.

God's Peace to you.

It sounds like fun to me. Cathcart is the Stude 6 guy. We depended heavely on Dick Datson's books when building my son's Stude V8. He had a plan for a twin turboed 200 inch Stude V8 that would put out 900 hp. Stude engined are much overlooked.
