A 21st Century 302? That is a very interesting build. I'd like to know what else was done to the engine on the inside.

It's a really nice build. Interesting details. The dizzy has been retained to spin the oil pump - but it looks like it may have been tweaked to drive a mechanical tach?

I think that's the top of an air/oil separator, the wheel provides an RPM signal. Please note: you can use the damper to run a wheel, but it must be attached to the hub (as done here), not the rim!

With Scott (aka d'geek) handling the tuning you know the thing is going to run well.

Beater of the pack, the internals include, bored to 311 ci, aluminum rods from Howards, flat top blower pistons, cam ground by Donnie Johanson, copper head gasket with stainless steel O rings, bigger valves (enconel exhaust), ATI Super Damper, the rotating assembly has been balanced. The turbo is a Rotormaster HX35, with stainless steel exhaust manifold, engine management will be MegaSquirt using 6 51 p/ph injectors. The transmission is a turbo 400 and the rear end is a 69 Camaro, 2.73 gear. Should pull the wooden boat that I am going to build after I sell my salt flat Stude. I

Gary,
The Jimmy looks outstanding! I sure like what you've done to it.
Jerry Gilpin and I need to take a run down your way this spring and take a look at your toys.
