I am going to be running a 292 with a 194 head.. Odd I am not sure what water pump I now have because the 292 stock bypass hose is alot larger than the pump outlet.. pump outlet is 1' and bypass is larger.. It does fit up top probably 1 1/2 or quarter.. I have not measured.. Anyhow.. What have people used to accomplish this, especially running powersteering with the bracket in the way.. along with the fact that the hose seems to ride the water pump pulley also.. Thank yas in advance.

Skez,
There are different versions of the 292 WP with a bypass. Some used a huge hose ( believe the early ones), some a smaller hose and the latest ones used a small threaded pipe fitting (3/8"). I use the last one on my 292 with a 3/8" metal line. Tom
