It seems like information on these engines is not super easy to come by, even on the site. This Weekend I found at the Hershey swap meet a sprint 6 4bblintake/dual exhaust manifold set up. And without knowing whether or not it would fit my chevy 250, I bought it for a nice price of 150. I Compared in in the dark to a pontiac 215 conventional engine and it seems like I might not fit. But I need to look closer, anybody have any ideas? I've been looking for an OHC engine for a year or so on Long Island not too many of those laying around though. So even if it doesn't fit my chevy I can also through it on there. Any clue if it'll work though?

I have only heard of a person here (?) installing one of those on a Chevy 250, he had to mod it & it still had vacuum leaks.

That is all I have heard of about the sprint 6 intake fitting a Chevy engine.

I remember the same thing too Hank. Something about the intake flange on the Pontiac being a little smaller that the Chevy and having some sealing issues when used on the siamese ports of the Chevy, but it is doable. I think I also remember it being said that a Clifford intake for the Chevy fits the Pontiac head better than the intake for the Pontiac swapping to the Chevy.

Tom Langdon should be a good source for information on the Sprint.
