OP straight axle 63 Contributor S Joined: Jul 2007 Posts: 213 Oregon	I was just given a 194 short block form a first gen Nova. The bore looks perfect with just a slight carbon ring. The plan is to hone the cylinder and put it back togeather. The only head I have is for a 250 or a 292 cannot remember. Can i surface the head down to the stock 194 CC. Also what is the max over bore for this block? Can I take it over to 3.875 and make a 230 out of it? Thanks.
