I was just given a 194 short block form a first gen Nova. The bore looks perfect with just a slight carbon ring. The plan is to hone the cylinder and put it back togeather. The only head I have is for a 250 or a 292 cannot remember. Can i surface the head down to the stock 194 CC. Also what is the max over bore for this block? Can I take it over to 3.875 and make a 230 out of it?
Thanks.

Sadly I think the answers are "no" and "no".

AHHHH I did not figure so. Guess I have to find a 194 head now. Are there any dome or high compression piston that I could use to get the compression up to 9:0???
