Hey Maldonado,

That thing is gorgeous! Huge thumbs up! Where did you get those headers. Think you can set me up with a set?

Maldonado-

Nice mill with the 3-dueces! Webers sure look nice.
What type of cam are you running, pistons, Compression ratio, tranny, etc.
Come on Lower American dude, give with the specs! Is it for sale????? I'd love to have it for my "Lakster" I'm building.

!Maldonado, enhorabuena! Very nice job. Did you say that balancer is not available up here? What does it usually get installed on? Is it an aftermarket unit or from a factory v8 that you guys modified and used on the 250?

Are those custom intakes? Or did you find a supplier of bolt-on Weber bases?

Hello Inliners...
Thanks for the compliments and for you've enjoyed it. As for your questions, really I didn't remember exactly these data, but I know it cranks out nearly 300 HP @ 5500 RPM and 340 ft.lbs of Torque @ 4000 RPM, so it is a Street Engine. The carburetor set up is three (two barrel) Weber 44-IDF Downdraught carbs with a total of 1590 CFM (530CFM) each one. The engine displacement is a 258 Chevy Engine ( 3.7/8" + .060" bore ) with a 12 Port Cast Iron Cyl Head. Following I want let you know all the Tech Data of that Engine.
Thank you,

Hello to ya'll here...

Thanks for you've enjoyed it so much! In response to your questions, they are as follows :
- magic mike:
The headers came from Jack Clifford from Clifford Performance Products up there in the USA.

-raprap:
Piston set, its brand name is JAHN'S Cast Pistons, flat top design and compression ratio around 11:00 to 1 , running 110 octanes gas. Camshat is a Clifford mechanical flat tappet grind with 290º/290º advertising duration, 256º/256º degrees of duration @.050" lifter rise, it has .618"/.618" gross valve lift and 108º lobe centers, single pattern cam. Tranny used is a mechanical 4 speeds with 4th gear 1:1 ratio.

- just a six:
This balancer (harmonic dampener )it is built specifically for the inline six engines by our Machine Shop and this one bolted onto the crank (picture), it is a two groove design as an integral part of the balancer. Our balancer does not have any pulley bolted behind it ! The intake manifold, valve cover and side covers are all aluminum casting in our Foundry.

-The FrenchTown Flyer:
That engine dropped in a full bodied passener car Fast Back Type. The Car's name is Chevrolet Opala. It looks likea Chevy Nova from '68 and up.

- Joe Dial:
Sure my friend, We can supply you one. Take a look at my profile and email me everything you 'd like to know about that.

Thank you,

They're very easy to use and costs nothing. I've been very happy with them.
