i am glad to see words from you, Big Bill! i been wonderin' on you.

Many times when the 'puter is repeating the same mistake over and over, with an incomprehensible error message or none at all, it's best just to reboot. That's what the Wizards and Soothsayers always say and, almost always, it works, and the problem disappears. When we ask the Wizards what the problem is, they just shrug -- they don't have a clue. They used to say that the 'puter had become trapped in "an endless loop." How does that happen? They don't know.

When rebooting doesn't fix it, then the problem is real -- read, expensive.

God's Peace to you.

If you are using IE as a browser you should go into 'Tools' and delete your browsing history, cookies, etc. periodically. This is actually where most of the problems originate, especially with the older operating systems. I have had calls from folks who were getting stuff that isn't even on the site anymore and this is from cached pages, on your computer or on the web. I don't do it myself, but you could check the 'delete browsing hisyory on exit' box. Also, as mentioned, the one thing that fixes a myriad of computer glitches is a simple reboot.
