Cool build, but I think the 7.7:1 compression ratio killed a lot of the potential.(Seemed a bit lazy) Low timing? I would have thought it should have made more power like what 70Nova said.

Yeah, but its just 200 cubic inches, so its probably not too bad on power considering that.

The tq seems down.
The 200 cubes in N/A form should be able to make 225 tq. This motor with 10 psi is only making 250 tq. Is the blower eating up all the gains?

Well it says it was done with under 10 psi of boost, never did say exactly how much. Also, the biggest valves you can put in those heads is smaller than what comes stock the our US Chevy 6 heads, so breathing is definately an issue with those heads.

None of my business, but a 4-71 is about the last blower I'd use on a small engine. Too much leakage, too much inertia in the rotors, helix angle too shallow, drive takes too much power. Even an Eaton M90 would do better, not to mention cheaper, lighter and smaller.

At least it sticks up out of the hood on the other side of the hood so he can still see to drive.....somewhat!

If you can make it stick up out of the hood, your blower install is already 90% successful... whether it actually works or not is the remaining 10% \:\)

Me, I like sleepers. My Nova is a sleeper build. It's been sleeping non stop soon for 2 years....
