I am looking for the brass fitting that threads into the side of the block in back of the last lifter, the metal tube that runs up to the rocker shaft assembly connects to this brass fitting. It has a 1/8-27 taper pipe tap thread on the end that goes into the block and a 3/8-24 flared tube type thread on the end that the metal tube threads onto. These is a hole approximately .062 in diameter in the pipe tap end than makes the fitting different from one that you could buy in the store. The 1950 parts book that I have lists it as part number 839926 fitting all the 235 engines from 1942-50, I think it possible might work on 1951-52 also as these engines used the same type of oiling system for the rockers. Does anybody have one for sale or know where I could look for one?
