I found this sort of by accident. My daily drivers tend to be Fox mustangs and I recently picked up one that was largely built by someone else. Doing my regular tune up make sure everything is fresh procedures I came to the fuel filter which as first glance seemed to be a Fram style aftermarket filter but has a spin off type filter element similar to an Oil filter. I took the numbers off the top and went to NAPA I was told that it was a Yamaha marine filter/ water separator. The replacement filter was $10. I was looking into fuel filter options for my Packard project about the same time and decided to look into a similar filter for it as the Fram or equivalent filters were around $50. I ended up getting another Yamaha filter adapter and a couple fittings tor about $20. The filter can be bought anywhere and is a whole lot less expensive plus it has the added benefit of being a water separator in case condensation in the fuel system is an issue.
