I want to replace my old 27/8/15 Hoosier Racing Slicks but can't seem to find anyone making that narrow a slick these days. I have a 40 Chevy and the space is limited between the rear fenders and the frame rails to 11 inches. The section width has to be no more than 10.3 inches. Are there any narrow slick makers around?

Yeah, the Nostalgia Firestone's have been around for a while. Even Speedway, Summit, etc. sell them. Some people don't like the odd shaped pie crust pattern.

Those look a look a lot like the Bruce slicks I used to run in the early 60s.

I really like the look of the "Bullet" ones if they fit they may find their way on my Packard.

I have a set of towel city slicks they are good but have really hard sidewalls not like a modern drag slick

The towel city slicks look really good. Prices are nice too, have you run them on anything?

Anyone run a modern pie-crust slick on the drag strip?

Some years ago a friend of mine ran the Coker pie crust slicks and they were harder than heck, wouldn't hook at all.
