Looking for info on mounting a 292 into a 55-59 chevy truck. Is there a source for engine mounts or will I have to fab something? Any insight will be appreciated.

You should be able to use a '57 V-8 bellhousing at the rear. Contact Tom Langdon for front mounts.

I'll second that.

The 54 and up side mount bell housing is what you need.

Tom Lowe also has a few options for a 292 mount. You would need a transmission with a tailshaft mount though.
