A buddy of mine is working on a Valiant slant 6 and he wants to get rid of the 1bbl carb and go to a factory 2bbl intake and carb. Its not going to be a hot rod by any means he just wants better drivability. Is that a good option for the project? It seems that the factory 2bbl stuff comes a a pretty good premium. Any advice?

Yeah, the Super Six stuff is pricey, I have a couple of guys on the Slant site want me to do a 2bbl intake for them to replace the factory one. It's on my list and i'm starting the patternmaking already for it.

Not much info.
Not even a pic of the vehicle.
What kind of vehicle is it? How much does it weigh?

Street car?

With a little effort he should be able to find a late 70s early 80s with a setup on it. Bought one two years ago for $50.00. I believe it was in a Duster.

Been there, Done that, Hope to live long enough to do it again.
