So, long story short I have an extra crank. Rod ends did not need to be machined, mains were machined .010 if I recall correctly. I'm including rod and main bearings with it.
$100 plus shipping and it's yours!

I will have to check. Of course, I just coated it in WD-40 and bagged it for storage! I'll look at it and get back to you.

Not sure about the 8 and 3, couldn't quite tell. Hope this helps. It's made in Mexico according to the casting.

No, thank you for looking! I'm sure it'll be hard to find a buyer for this, but maybe someone is restoring something and could use a good crank!

I bet he was going to make a "250" race engine with it.

I have a standard/standard steel forged crankshaft , IIRC, it was from a 1963 Nova w/a 194 CI engine.
It's been standing upright in my Parent's garage for about 25+ years.
He could make a 230 Race engine.

You could build a screaming "250" with that. You might want to go check it out.

No, 4" bore. That was a common combo that my friend Darren used a lot. It was able to still fit the Comp class as a 250 cubic inch. Any overbore using the stock 250 stroke made the cubes too large and he had to move up a class if he did that. He made over 500 HP N/A with a brazed lump head.

Hmm, that's pretty cool, I think you should do it Maybe I'll use it down the road somewhere but until then I'll keep it for sale.

That's like twice the recommended over bore isn't it? Is that just for a race engine with filled water jackets?

Yes, the block will need to be filled at that overbore and power output. They turn them 9000+ RPM with that combo.

For those in SD, ND, IL, IA, and NE...
SpeeDee Delivery is very cheap. I shipped 2 cylinder heads and an oil pan filled with rods for $50. This crank would probably be only $20 to ship.
